Villa Porta

“It is so much more than a hotel. It’s a place of magic where you can experience events and emotions, where you can be overwhelmed by beauty in all its forms!”

This conviction takes shape in the daily commitment of Lara Luz, leading Villa Porta since 1997.

The Luz family’s history began in 1971 when Mr. Lothar from Stuttgart embarked on a significant transformation process, creating a luxury hotel named Camin Hotel Colmegna.

Afterwards, it will be daughter Lara who will continue the ambitious path of growth… a path still in the making…

A graduate of the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Lara is an expert in the art of receiving thanks to the winning combination of know-how acquired over the years and her spontaneous attitude to conviviality.

VISION

The gradual expansion of the historic structure has always been developed with respect for the natural environment, in a unique and extraordinary territory that deserves to be promoted with determination.

Here a concept of modern hospitality is born, where standards of excellence are enriched with a family touch, with a spontaneous and welcoming character: a world of innovation that embraces history, a creative vision that recalls ancient affections, and a projection towards the future that is based on its origins.

INSPIRATION

A curious and open approach to novelty is a source of great inspiration for Lara, who is always ready to bring new projects to life. Her gaze is attentive to the fast-moving, ever-changing world: the ability to grasp its stimuli, without ever losing her own identity, is fundamental.

Art, fashion, music are Lara’s great passions that find space in the refined taste of the furnishings, in the refinement of the environments, in the attention to detail.

The creative hemisphere remains well aligned with a determined and analytical vision, the result of typically Swiss discipline. The result is a volcanic, high-energy, but always well-considered conduct.
